Get Fired, Ladies! Stop Bitching Start Over - When I Grow Up Danielle Maveal and I are an obvious great match. She was the Etsy Seller Education Leader for 5 years; Ive been The When I Grow Up Coach for that long. She educates and motivates women to make a living doing what they love; I help creative women discover what they love. She has short hair; I have short hair. She wanted to present at SXSW in 2013; I wanted to present at SXSW in 2013. Obvious, right?! So even though it was a mere 5 days before the submission deadline, we wanted to bring the following questions to this male-dominated Interactive event: Why do so many women feel they have to stay when they know they want something else for themselves? and Why do they try to fix everything when its not their job? Its time to discover why our jobs look good on the outside, but feel real crappy on the inside. We can have it all, goddamnit! So, nows the time to Get Fired, Ladies!: Stop Bitching Start Overor the time to vote on it, at least! But this goes beyond a SXSW proposal (although wed be so appreciative of a thumbs up before the end of the week!). We wanna give you a checklist of things to look for so that you know your situation is ill-fitting at best and soul-sucking at worst. We wanna answer your questions. We wanna make an announcement. So, were hopping on Vokle at 3p Eastern tomorrow (thats August 28th!) so we can share our stories and start this discussion.
